Christmas Ready with Shutterfly.

The Christmas season is upon us and I couldn't be more excited about it! It's my most favorite time of year. We've been busy around here getting our home holiday ready, rounding up Christmas gifts and getting holiday cards together.

Shutterfly is one of my go to places for unique gifts and of coarse our holiday cards. I've been using them for our Christmas cards for 8 years and every year they have something new to make my cards stand out!

Today I'm excited to share with you how we got Christmas ready with the help of Shutterfly!

A couple new additions to our holiday decor this year were some new pillows for our formal living room. I love that Shutterfly has a ton of options to customize your pillows, I chose a design on their site and personalized them with our family on one.

More great options for customization is adding something to the back of your pillow, I made my plaid because I'm crushing on everything plaid this season for the holidays. This option makes them reversible and gives me two looks from one.

Holiday Cards

This year I chose traditional red for our holiday cards. I haven't done red in a while, and I loved all the options Shutterfly had. I chose a red foil card this year.

Another NEW option this year is the chance to add a slip in liner. I love this option because it makes everything personal and there's so many designs to choose from to make them your own. Add matching address labels to pull it all together.

Gifting with Shutterfly

Each year I make a photo calendar from Shutterfly to give as gifts, but this year I wanted to give a few new gifts that were special as well.

I love all the jewelry options Shutterfly has to offer, you can personalize them by adding photo charms and birth stone jems.

I think they make really special gifts for the women in your life.

Another fun gift option are these awesome candles from Shutterfly. You can choose the sent you want and personalize the image on the front. I chose a Christmas theme to add to a gift basket I'm putting together.

The candles are generous size and come in their own gifting box if you want to give them as stand alone gifts.

Home Decor

Remember when I mentioned I was mad about plaid this year? I carried that over to my table scape this year. Shutterfly has so many plate options to choose from, I used the 'In Your Own Words' plate and added the paid background.

And if you need a cute way to display your holiday treats, serving trays customized by Shutterfly are the way to go. I also think these make beautiful hostess gifts this season.

And lastly, don't forget to deck your tree with beautiful personalized ornaments from Shutterfly, which tons of great options you're sure to find something that fits your style. Perfect for celebrating special events; like baby's first Christmas and more!

With so many great items on their site you're sure to find something that fits your taste and style. I love using Shutterfly every year for our holiday cards and personalized gifts! What are some of your favorites to get or gift from Shutterfly?

Room Reveal | Zane's Toddler Room

We have spent the last month finishing Zane's new room. When we first moved into this house we just relocated all his nursery furniture into his room, slowly over the last few months I've been selling all the old nursery furniture to make room for his new bed and other furniture.

We used all of the existing decor and items, but the brand new items we brought in were a new bed, and a shelf for toy storage, and new sheets and a blanket.

Ready to see his new room? Let's get started!

Here's the view when you walk into the room from the hallway. This is his little reading nook. I love this little space, and I imagine him playing in this little corner a lot.

Below is a full room view of his new bed, the toy shelf, his gallery wall and other art work. I love building a gallery wall and I have them in many spaces through out my home. I love that his tells a great story. We've got a mix of new born photos and a more recent, plus art work from my shop and other pieces he had in his nursery. The globe was a purchase I got at EJs Auction.

I wanted a shelf that I could display little momentos and things that have special significance. I found the shelf at World Market and added some of my favorite things from his room. The football figurines were also a purchase from EJs Auction.

His closet is huge, since he doesn't have a dresser it works out nicely to hold all his things. The banner above was made by a friend and was part of the decor at my baby shower with Zane. It's a personal touch to his room.

I love how his big boy bed turned out! He loves it too and has been so excited to sleep here. The curtains are from Land of Nod, I had my eye on them for his nursery but just never ended up getting them. When we decided to makeover his room they were a must have on the list! His quilt was made by a friend and given to me when I was pregnant. I added the football blanket and chevron sheets, both from Target.

His room turned out so nice, and as I was sitting in there with his yesterday afternoon it was so cozy. I love making my kids spaces into something they love. It makes my heart happy as mom to create something like this for them.

Thank you for touring his space with me.

I completed this space with the help of Ejs Auction & Consignment. As part of their 'Bid on A Budget' contest. Please go here and vote for my room and see the other rooms in the contest.

Bid On A Budget Lifestyle Blogger Contest

Happy Monday friends! I have some fun news to share with you today, I've been asked to partner with EJ's Auction & Consignment to participate in a "Bid on A Budget" room makeover contest!

Which I glad accepted, and love the challenge of making awesome spaces work on a budget. EJ's is giving each of us lifestyle bloggers $500 to bid on and purchase items from their auction house to makeover our spaces.

I will have 4 weeks to shop for items, and then another 4 weeks to decorate and finish my space. Then my finished space will be open for voting and the winner gets $500 cash + $100 credit to EJ's to give away to a lucky blog reader!

Plus, the contest winner will be chosen on my birthday! So obviously, I need to win and I'm gonna need all of you to vote as well!

I attended my first live auction experience a couple weekends ago and it was so much fun! It's a little intense at first I'm not gonna lie. I can totally see how people can really get into going into attending auctions, it's so fun to bid on things and win them!

I already had in mind a price that I wanted to pay, so this was a good practice in self control not to go over budget. They have three live auction rings going on at the same time. Selling anything and everything from large pieces of furniture to baseball trading cards.

I often shop Craigslist and second hand stores for my home anyway, so this was another fun option to explore and I'll for sure be back!

So which room am I going to makeover for this contest?

Well, I went back and forth for a while between my office and some other spaces in our new home. However, Zane has been telling me he wants a "big bed like Ava" for a few weeks now and when I saw a bed come up for auction at EJ's last weekend I just knew I had to get it for him!

I bid on and WON this awesome vintage bed frame.

I've already begun sanding it down and I have big plans for this baby. I'm going to makeover Zane's room from his nursery to a big boy bed, which is sorta breaking this mama's heart a bit but he's also going to be three in December so it's time to make the transition. I can't wait to show you how we're going to transform his space!

Stay tuned, I'll be heading to auction again this weekend and can't wait to take you along. Follow along with me on Instagram @andreamworley or follow EJ's @ejsauction

This contest is brought to you by EJ's Auction & Consignment. I have been given a credit to shop for and makeover a space in my home, but all opinions and thoughts are my own.
